Somewhere Along the Way,

You Stopped Living and Started

Just Getting Through the Day

A 12 week private coaching experience for nurses who are ready to stop disappearing underneath everyone else's needs and finally become the person they keep putting last.

You Already Know Something Has to Change

You get in the car after a 12 hour shift and just sit there. Engine off. Not because you're tired. Because you don't know where the version of you that used to have something left went.

You say yes to the extra shift, the committee, the favor, the coverage. Not because you want to. Because saying no feels selfish. And you were taught that selfish is the worst thing a nurse can be.

You keep giving and giving and giving. And the people around you keep taking. Not because they're bad people. Because you trained them to expect it. Because that's who you've always been.

Your family gets whatever is left. And lately, nothing is left. You're present in the room but absent in the moment. And the guilt of knowing that eats at you more than the exhaustion.

You've tried to set boundaries. They didn't hold. You've tried to say no. It lasted a week. You've tried every tip, every podcast episode, every deep breath in the supply room. And you're still here.

What if the problem was never your schedule, your manager, or your caseload? What if the problem is that you've been trying to change your actions without changing who you believe you are?

in the moment.

Every strategy you've tried failed for the same reason. You changed the behavior but kept the identity that created it.

You tried to say no. But you were still operating as the person who measures their worth by how much they give. So you said yes again. Not because you're weak. Because your identity made the decision before you did.

You tried to leave on time. But you were still operating as the person who is terrified of what people will think. So you stayed. Not because you had to. Because the person you believe you are doesn't leave.

You tried to stop overgiving at home. But you were still operating as the person who believes rest has to be earned. So you kept going. Not because the work wasn't done. Because you don't give yourself permission to stop.

The boundary didn't fail. The strategy didn't fail. The identity underneath made the decision for you every single time.

This is why coaching that only teaches you what to do never holds. Until you change who you are, every new behavior gets pulled back to the old pattern. The POISE Identity Experience changes the foundation. Everything else follows.

I Almost Lost My Life Proving I Was Valuable

September 28, 2022. 4:30 in the morning. I was in my prayer room finishing the book of Daniel when my heart started racing. Irregular. Pounding. My Apple Watch confirmed what I already knew: I was in AFib. Heart rate at 180 beats per minute.

My husband was working in LA. My son was in college in San Diego. I was alone. So I did what I always did. I handled it myself. I drove myself to the hospital.

Every test came back normal. No structural problem. No medical explanation. My doctor looked at me and asked two questions that broke everything open.

"What do you do for a living? And are you burned out?"
For the first time. I told the truth.

I was a hospice nurse carrying 25 patients. I said yes to everything. I worked overtime I didn't need to work. I volunteered for every committee. My marriage was suffering. My family was getting whatever crumbs were left after everyone else got the best of me.

I wasn't sick because of a heart condition. I was sick because I had spent years abandoning myself and calling it dedication.

That moment became the foundation for everything I now teach. I rebuilt my schedule, my boundaries, my income, and my identity. I advocated for myself and received an eight dollar raise. I became a team leader. My marriage was restored. My family was reunited. Not because my circumstances changed. Because I changed.

That is the transformation I bring to every nurse I work with.

-

Boundary Scripts and Templates

Real language for conversations. At work, at home, with the people who expect you to keep giving. These are not affirmations. These are words you can actually say out loud.

-

Direct Access Coaching

Between sessions, you have real time access for guidance when things come up. Because identity shifts don't wait for your next appointment.

-

90 Day Integration Plan

Before coaching ends, we map the next 90 days so your results sustain. This is how transformation becomes permanent, not temporary motivation that fades the week after.

Optional Faith Integration

For those who want their transformation rooted in something deeper. Guided reflections, prayer, and scripture based renewal woven into the coaching. If that's not your path, the experience focuses entirely on the identity transformation.

These are the outcomes that follow when the identity underneath shifts.

AT WORK

You stop staying late unpaid. You stop volunteering for every holiday. You advocate for yourself and your compensation reflects it.

AT HOME

Your family stops getting the empty version of you. You come home with something left to give. Presence replaces exhaustion.

BOUNDARIES

You say no and it holds. Not because you learned a technique. Because you became someone who no longer negotiates their own needs.

IDENTITY

You stop performing a role and start living as the person you actually are. The title is part of your life. It is not your entire life.

DECISIONS

You stop asking permission to choose yourself. The guilt fades. The second guessing stops. You make decisions from clarity, not fear.

PEACE

The constant running stops. You are no longer trying to earn rest. You just rest. And it doesn't require an explanation to anyone.

This Is for You If

  • You are a nurse who knows something has to change and you're done waiting for it to happen on its own

  • You have been pouring into everyone else and there is nothing left for you or your family

  • You are willing to do real work on yourself, not just talk about it

  • You want transformation, not a temporary fix that fades in two weeks

  • You are ready to invest in yourself the same way you invest in everyone else

This Is Not for You If

  • You are looking for someone to vent to without any intention of changing

  • You want someone to tell you what you want to hear instead of what you need to hear

  • You are not willing to show up consistently for 12 weeks

  • You believe the problem is entirely external and nothing about you needs to shift

Questions Before You Decide

How is this different from therapy?

Therapy helps you understand your past. Coaching helps you build your future. We are not digging into trauma. We are dismantling the identity patterns that keep you stuck and building new ones that match the life you actually want.

I work nights and my schedule is unpredictable. Will this work for me?

Yes. Sessions are scheduled around your life. I work with nurses on nights, 12 hours rotations, weekends, and everything in between. If you can find 45 minutes once a week, we will make it work.

What if I am not sure I can commit for 12 weeks?

Consider this. You have committed to covering other people's shifts, staying late when no one asked you to, and putting yourself last for years. Twelve weeks for yourself is not a big ask. It's the first real decision you will have made for you in a long time.

Is the faith component required?

No. Faith integration is completely optional. If you want that layer, it is woven in beautifully. If you do not, the coaching focuses entirely on identity transformation and tangible outcomes. Either way, you get the full experience.

I've tried coaching before and it didn't work.

Most coaching teaches you new habits without addressing the identity that keeps pulling you back to old ones. That is why it doesn't hold. This work starts at the root. We do not manage symptoms. We change the person. That is the difference.

Do I need to be thinking about leaving nursing?

No. Most nurses I work with love nursing. They have just lost themselves inside of it. this work helps you stay in the profession without it costing you your health, your peace, or your identity.
